Age Limit
- For Delhi Police and CAPFs SI posts: 20 to 25 Years

- SC/ST candidates will get 5 Years upper age relaxation.
- OBC candidates will get 3 Years upper age relaxation.

Educational Eligibility
- Candidates applying for Delhi Police and CAPFs Sub-Inspector posts must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying degree examination may apply, but they must possess the required qualification by the closing date of online applications.
- Candidates must produce the required original educational documents during Document Verification.
Age Eligibility
- The normal age limit for most SSC CPO SI posts is 20 to 25 Years.
- Age will be reckoned as on 01 August 2026.
- For SI (Fire) in CISF, the age limit is 18 to 30 Years.
- Applicable age relaxation will be provided to eligible reserved and other categories as per Government rules.
Nationality
- The candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
- Candidates belonging to Nepal or Bhutan must satisfy the certificate of eligibility requirements prescribed by the Government of India.
Delhi Police Male Candidates
- Male candidates applying for the Sub-Inspector (Executive) post in Delhi Police must possess a valid LMV Driving Licence for Motorcycle and Car.
- Candidates without the required driving licence can still be eligible for the Sub-Inspector posts in CAPFs, subject to other eligibility conditions.

SSC CPO SI Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
- Stage 1: Computer Based Examination (Paper-I).
- Stage 2: Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET).
- Stage 3: Computer Based Examination (Paper-II).
- Stage 4: Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Review Medical Examination.
- Stage 5: Document Verification and final selection as per merit and applicable conditions.
Candidates must qualify the required stages of the examination. PST/PET and medical examination are qualifying in nature, while performance in the written papers is used for shortlisting and merit as per the recruitment rules.
SSC CPO SI Medical Examination 2026
Candidates who qualify Paper-II will be called for the Detailed Medical Examination. The medical examination will be conducted by the authorized medical authorities as prescribed in the notification.

- The correction charges are applicable to all candidates irrespective of category or gender.

SSC CPO Exam Centre 2026
Candidates can select up to three examination centres in the same SSC region in order of preference while submitting the online application form.
