The UP Special TET Online Form 2026 has been released by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj. The online application process will start from 05 September 2026. Candidates need to complete OTR before filling out the application form.

UP Special TET Online Form 2026
The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj has released the notification for UP Special TET 2026. The examination is being conducted for eligible teachers and special educators working at the Primary and Upper Primary levels.
The UP Special TET Online Form 2026 will be available from 05 September 2026 to 04 October 2026. Candidates should check the eligibility conditions, application fee and examination details before applying.
The UP Special TET Apply Online 2026 process will be completed through the official UPESSC website using the OTR based online application system.
UP Special TET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Primary Level Eligibility
1. Teachers working at the Primary Level in schools run by the Uttar Pradesh State Government are eligible for the Primary Level Special TET.
2. Teachers working in schools run by local bodies and schools recognized or affiliated by the concerned government authorities may also be eligible as prescribed in the notification.
3. Special Educators working at the Primary Level for Classes 1 to 5 are also covered under the prescribed eligibility conditions.
Upper Primary Level Eligibility
1. Teachers working at the Upper Primary / Junior High School Level are eligible for the Upper Primary Level Special TET as per the notification.
2. The eligibility also applies to teachers working in eligible government, local body, aided and recognized schools mentioned in the notification.
3. Special Educators working for Classes 6 to 8 must satisfy the prescribed qualification and registration requirements.
Special Educator (CWSN) Eligibility
1. Special Educators working at the Primary Level on contract or deputation basis must have the required graduation qualification along with a recognized D.Ed. Special Education or equivalent qualification.
2. For the Upper Primary Level, eligible Special Educators must have graduation along with B.Ed. Special Education or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
3. The concerned Special Educator must also have a valid RCI registration certificate with an active CRR number as prescribed in the notification.
UP Special TET 2026 Age Limit
The maximum age for Special Educators working on contract or deputation basis is 60 years. The age is to be considered as on the examination date, i.e. 03 November 2026.

UP Special TET 2026 Exam Centre
The examination centres will be decided by the Commission as required at district headquarters. Candidates may be allotted any examination centre according to the arrangements made by UPESSC.
Information about the examination district is expected to be provided before the examination, while details of the allotted examination centre will be available closer to the examination date.
Candidates must appear only at the examination centre mentioned in their Admit Card.
UP Special TET 2026 Admit Card
The UP Special TET Admit Card will be made available through the official UPESSC website before the examination. Candidates will be informed about the examination date, centre and other details through the official website, portal, SMS or e-mail.
After the Admit Card is released, candidates should download it and check their name, registration details, examination centre, date and reporting information carefully.
How to Apply UP Special TET Online Form 2026
1. Visit the official UPESSC website and open the online application section.
2. Complete the required One Time Registration (OTR) process before filling the examination form.
3. Log in to the application portal and select UP Special TET 2026.
4. Enter your personal, educational, employment and other required details carefully.
5. Enter the required eHRMS code or RCI registration details, wherever applicable.
6. Upload the photograph, signature and required documents in the prescribed format.
7. Pay the applicable examination fee through the available payment method.
8. Check the complete UP Special TET Application Form 2026 carefully before final submission.
9. Submit the application form within the prescribed date and keep a copy of the submitted form and payment receipt for future reference.
